Let’s see…I’m currently living here in Arlington TX, but we’ve only been here since last September. Before that we spent 8 months in Louisiana, which wasn’t that great, before that we were in Springfield, MO, which really is home, before that we were in Nashville TN, and then….well I could go on and on.

As far as a regional dish? We love mexican and have found some great mexican joints here in TX. But I really haven’t had time to find a regional dish here.

I am in Southern California. My favorite dish currently is Fish tacos. SO many places make them and they all are different. Very tasty.

I’m from northwest North Carolina, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Around here, everyone eats really southern food – fried chicken, mashed potatoes, all sorts of casseroles, greens, biscuits, blackeyed peas, chicken n’dumplins, and all that good stuff. One thing we have around here are sonkers, which are the same as deep dish pies, but here they call them sonkers. In fact, the Sonker Festival is held each year at the Edwards Franklin House in Surry County. There is always bluegrass music, and plenty of sonkers of many different kinds – sweet potato, peach, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, apple, and a few suprises every now and then!

I’m from Michigan, great lakes. I’m not a big eater, so my favorite is pizza. I’ve always wanted to try microwaving popcorn in the brown bag. It looks pretty easy.

I’m from Washington, and I guess our regional specialties are Starbucks and microbrews… but I don’t like either! My all time favorite foods that I can’t get are from Costa Rica, – tico cheese (fried, but it doesn’t melt) and Yuca chips, yum!
