Gruff: Canada Dry. Mmmmm. Ginger ale is just good. Right!?

Me: It is the champagne of sodas.

Gruff: Really? They say that?

Me: Well, I just said it.

::grin:: My brother read this post while we were on the phone and burst out laughing. I was so relieved that I wasn’t the only one who thought it was funny!

I’ll tell Gruff he has a kindred spirit. The other day I came home with Vernor’s –and diet, at that– and you should have seen his face when he opened the fridge. The shock, the revulsion… I won’t make that mistake again.
